Fence Repair Services

Often, fixing your fence is a better option than replacing it: rotten pickets can be replaced, new posts can be installed. It all depends on the state of the wood. Softwood picket fences like pine are harder to repair than cedar-picket fences because of how they age. If your fence is stained, it's possible to pretty closely match the stain of new pickets with existing ones, but they will rarely look exactly the same. No big deal: some variety makes your fence look more organic.

New Fence Installations

All our fences are built for longevity: posts are placed in deep concrete holes with pea gravel at the base. This ensures that your wooden posts (what keeps your fence standing!) are protected from rot and humidity over time.

Over the past twelve years, we've installed pretty much any type of fence you can think of, including wood fences (all manners of pickets / split- and round-rail / louver / lattice / …), and "non-wood" fencing like chain-link, vinyl, ornamental steel posts, wrought-iron fences, and custom-welded gates.

Pine or Cedar Pickets?

First, we never cut corners by using landscape timber. For most jobs, we use treated pine posts and cedar pickets. We can use pressure-treated pine pickets, but they won't last as long and require more maintenance. Besides, your fences look way nicer with cedar pickets. Ever seen a green fence? That's pine pickets for you. Cedar fences have a beautiful reddish hue that looks more like natural wood. And since cedar fences aren't chemically treated, they are more environmentally friendly.

Fence Removal

When we build your new fence, the cost of removing your old fence is included in our quote. But we also offer fence removal as a standalone service.
