Our 10-Year Warranty

We do the work right the first time, and that's how we can guarantee for ten years all our new fences and gates. Installing a brand new fence is a big investment, and you want it to last as long as possible. And you also want your fence to look as possible, especially if you plan on selling your house in a few years.

What kind of warranty are we talking about?

Yes: ten years is a long time, but the structural integrity of your fence or gate is guaranteed. Barring a tornado or unusually high winds, your fence won't sag or fall, and the gate won't loosen at its hinges to the point where you can't open it.

Of course, parts of your fence will age faster than others, and this is out of our control. Although we typically use cedar (vs. pine), wood is organic matter: cracks and knot holes may appear over time. Some pickets, especially pine boards, may start warping. Since each picket is unique, it's difficult (even for us) to predict how well it will age. But rest assured that we do our very best to select only the pickets that we feel give your fence the best chance at aging gracefully.

And, assuming we stained your fence, we use oil-based stains, not water-based stains. But the Waco sun is unforgiving, and staining will fade. That unavoidable fade isn't covered under our ten-year warranty of course, but no biggie: we can come back at any time to re-stain parts of your fence if needed. This generally only applies to the East-facing side (morning sun) and West-facing side (afternoon sun) of your fence - those that get beat up by the Texas sun over 300 days a year.
